If you – or your colleagues – would benefit from learning better project management skills, tailored for your job in the digital sector, come along to our Digital Bootcamp on Wednesday 11 November. Aimed at people in their first and second roles, the Bootcamp will teach you all you need to know about how to manage projects more effectively, whether you work with software, the web or videogames.

And rather than using trainers who've rarely had to manage projects under real working pressures, you'll be taught by company directors and heads of department – the people who've been there and done it.

Learn how they manage multiple projects, how they put theory into practice and where project management works and sometimes how it goes wrong.

Meet your teachers…

The Digital Bootcamp will be introduced by Meri Williams, a project management guru at Procter & Gamble and author of The Principles of Project Management. After that, you'll break off into groups based on the area you work in (or would like to work in). Teaching each workshop will be:

  • WEB: Oli Wood, the head of digital at Tyneside creative agency, bgroup
  • SOFTWARE: Ross Cooney, the managing director of Rozmic, a leading anti-virus and anti-spam software manufacturer
  • VIDEOGAMES: Chris Hadley, a senior producer at Ubisoft Reflections, the team behind Wheelman, Driver and many other successful games

Book your place today

Places for Digital Bootcamp cost just £10 and we expect they'll sell out fast. Book your place here. The event starts at 11am - 5pm

If you have any questions please email Claire Darcy at claire.darcy@codeworks.net

*Places will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. There's places for 30 people in each break-out workshop. Once you've registered we'll email you to let you know whether or not you have been successful -- at which point we'll take payment from you.
